Owner / Director -- Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education

Billy was a competitive gymnast beginning at the age of 7, competing at the State and Regional Level. Billy took his gymnastics background into college with him and was a Division I Collegiate Cheerleader at Seton Hall University. Billy is currently a Health and Physical Education Teacher in the Bloomfield School District where he was previously also the Head Coach of the Bloomfield High School Cheerleading Squad. Billy has over 25 years of coaching experience in gymnastics, tumbling and cheer. Billy is a father of 3 beautiful children and as owner/director of Flippin’ Out Tumbling and Gymnastics he is fulfilling a lifelong dream of passing on the valuable knowledge that he has gained in the sports of gymnastics and cheerleading to the next generation and helping them to find the passion for such amazing sports.


Owner / Director -- Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management and Technology.

For 8 years Jeff was a competitive USAG gymnast at the State and Regional Level. Jeff trained at Syracuse University with the men’s NCAA Division 1 gymnastics team. Jeff has 20+ years of experience coaching tumbling for various competitive cheer teams.


Program Director -- Ocean County and Bergen Community, Accounting and Exercise Science

Kathy has more than 30 years in the sport of gymnastics and has taught and directed pre-school through competitive level gymnastics. She loves traveling with hopes to see Italy in the next few years, playing and walking with her dog Bailey (who sometimes comes to the gym with her.) Her favorite Disney character is Tinker Bell, Christmas is her favorite holiday and "Twilight" is her favorite movie. Kathy's passion is teaching young gymnasts to develop a love for the sport all while having a positive experience in the gym and her favorite theme at Flippin' Out is Halloween Week.


Instructor -- Montclair State University

Lyndsay attended Queen of Peace High School where she was a 4-year Varsity Cheerleader. A graduate of Montclair State University where she was captain of the MSU All Girl Division III Cheerleading Team who placed second at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Nationals. She has participated in cheering for 18 years and coached gymnastics and cheer for 7 years. Outside the gym, Lyndsey likes working out, going shopping and counts Taylor Swift as her favorite musical icon. Her goal is to teach her students gymnastics, tumbling and cheer while keeping it fun and safe. There is nothing better than seeing a smile on a student's face. Lyndsey is Flippin' Out's social media guru, running and creating content for our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Follow us!


Instructor -- Attending New Jersey Institute of Technology

Jake competed from ages 3 to 15 as a gymnast at the highly competitive level 10. He has been coaching for the last 7 years here at Flipppin' Out. Finishing up at NJIT, majoring in Civil Engineering, Jake is working to become a Project Manager at a construction firm and continuing to coach as much gymnastics as he can. His hobbies include working out and playing ice hockey (having played for the NJIT hockey team.) Favorite things include Chicken Fajitas and Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets with smiley-face potatoes, the movie "Avengers", Country music and the color maroon. Jake feels it is important to work with his students to help them reach the next level of gymnastics.


Instructor and Team Coach -- Troy State University

Having competed in gymnastics and cheering himself, Walter has coached gymnastics and tumbling for 42 years. Outside the gym, he keeps active with running. He admits to really liking pasta dishes and the color blue.


Instructor & Competitive Team Coach -- Estacio de SA, Rio de Janeiro

Brazilian competitive gymnast, coach and national judge who also auditioned for the Cirque de Soleil, Igor brings over 20 years experience to Flippin' Out. He likes outdoor sports and to dance. Some of his favorites include pizza, burgers and lasagna; the colors green and yellow (can anyone say Brazilian soccer team colors); pop, dance and electronic music and "The Greatest Showman" and "Chicago". Igor shares his passion for the sport of gymnastics and competitive gymnastics with all of his students and one of his personal goals is to coach a national champion. The enthusiasm he brings to the workouts he coaches radiates through the gym.


Instructor -- Hudson County Community College and Eastwick College

Participated in Kearney Generals Cheerleading Competitions from 2009 to 2015 and tumbling at Flippin' Out in 2010 and 2011. Sianna has been coaching at Flippin' Out for 3 years. Her long-term goals are to become rich and start a big family. She likes to watch Netflix, the colors pink and yellow, buffalo wings, any Disney movie ever made and all genres of music.


Instructor -- Montclair State University

An aspiring elementary school teacher, Allison has participated for 12 years in cheerleading as a college coed cheerleader (captain, scholastic athlete and UCA All-American - 3 years varsity and varsity competition.) She has coached PeeWee Cheer for 3 years and 1 year for gymnastics. Cheering activities and watching Netflix are outside interests of Allison. Her favorites include foods like sushi, pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs; the color purple; pop and Country music; and the "Little Mermaid" movie. She is a big fan of Laffy Taffy.


Instructor -- Stockton University

Bella was a competitive gymnast from the age of two until about fourteen years of age and a cheerleader from third grade through senior year in high school. She is concentrating on improving her skills at the more advanced levels. Bella likes working out, going to concerts and the beach. Her favorites are the color green, Chick-fil-A, the "Avengers" movie, and hip-hop music (especially Drake.)


Instructor -- Nutley High School

Lilly competed for the Flippin' Out gymnastics team and made it to Level 6 having won multiple awards on the uneven bars. She has now been coaching for a year and a half. Lilly's favorites are the color black, spaghetti and meatball, the movie "Moana" and alternative music.


Instructor -- Ramapo College of New Jersey

I was a competitive cheerleader for North Arlington High School then moved onto cheerleading for Ramapo College. I coach the North Arlington Starz Cheerleading Team, which is divided into 2 different teams. I have been teaching gymnastics for 8 years and am an aspiring elementary school teacher.

I enjoy being with friends and family, and enjoy staying active and having fun


Instructor -- Attending Montclair State University

Currently I am studying exercise science at Montclair State University, graduating this summer. I Have been with Flippin’ Out for 6 years and still counting!



I was a gymnast at Gymnastic World (former name of the Flippin’ Out facility) from 1980 to 1982 and competed at the United States Gymnastic Association (USAG) Level 8. I have over 20 years experience teaching gymnastics. I try to teach gymnastics in a fun and safe environment.

I enjoy spending time with my family.


Instructor -- Rutgers University

I am a teacher in the Livingston Public School District teaching 6th Grade. Previously I was a cheerleader in Nutley High school and also cheered at Rutgers University. Currently I am the Head Coach for Nutley High School Cheerleading and am actively involved in the Nutley recreational cheer program. I have been at Flippin’ Out for 5 years.



Hana is one of our energetic instructors. Hana instructs pre-school, recreational gymnastics as well as tumbling classes.



Danielle wears many hats at Flippin' Out. Danielle is a mother of 3 children, all who are a part of the program, she is a recreational class instructor and one of our friendly office staff. Danielle has over 5 years experience teaching gymnastics and loves being a part of the Flippin' Out Family!


Instructor -- Attending James Madison University

My Mom put me in Mommy & Me at 18 months old and I did recreational gymnastics classes until I was 11 years old. I started cheerleading in the 3rd grade and participated in cheerleading throughout all of high school, where I received 3 varsity letters. My goals for the students that come to Flippin’ Out are for them to have fun but also learn and gain a passion for gymnastics and tumbling like I have.


Office Manager -- Bloomfield College

I have been with Flippin’ Out from the very beginning, five years now, and worked in the office at Gymnastic World for 4 years prior to that. I am very involved in my children’s school activities and serve as the Vice-President of the Nutley Boosters and Secretary of Radcliffe Parent/Teacher Organization. I also take an interest in local service activities and serve as Secretary of Local Woman on Wheels Chapter.

Office Staff / Newsletter Editor / Odds and Ends -- Albright College and Montclair State University

Also known as “Billy’s Dad”, Bill works with the computer systems for class management, the website, Facebook, handles accounts receivable, customer relations, and taking care of general tasks to make things run smoothly. He has a background in Pharmaceutical sales and product management. Bill's goals are for a happy, fun-filled and rewarding experience for both the students and parents. He says, "If I can be of assistance, I am just a phone call away."
